Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-05-17

Preliminary, informational only. Gao Internet is pre-mainnet infrastructure software. The stack is non-custodial by design. Nothing on this page is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Final versions of these documents will be published after counsel review prior to general availability.

Gao Internet is pre-mainnet infrastructure software. Status labels on this site are best-effort snapshots. This page summarises material risks you should consider before relying on any pre-mainnet surface.

Not financial advice, not an investment

Nothing on this site or in the documentation constitutes investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Gao Systems does not offer securities, custody services, deposits, or yield products. References to payments, settlement, and identity describe infrastructure software, not financial services.

Pre-mainnet risk

Pre-mainnet surfaces — Live Preview, Beta, Testnet Live, Developer Preview, and Dev/Test — may pause, regress, change interface, or be retired without notice.

Testnet identities, testnet balances, and developer artifacts have no real-world economic value and may be reset.

Non-custodial design — operational risk on the user

Because the stack is non-custodial by design, the user is responsible for the safekeeping of signing keys, recovery material, and device security. Lost or compromised keys can result in irreversible loss of access. There is no central operator that can restore them on the user's behalf.

Smart-contract and protocol risk

Identity, settlement, and messaging primitives rely on protocols and code that may contain unknown bugs. Audits, if and when performed, reduce but do not eliminate this risk. Always review the in-product disclosures of any consumer surface before transacting.

Regulatory risk

Laws applicable to digital identity, payments, and AI agents vary by jurisdiction and are evolving. Use of pre-mainnet surfaces from a jurisdiction in which the relevant features are restricted is your responsibility.

AI agent risk

Even with capability tokens, policy gates, and approval flows, AI agents can produce unintended outputs and side-effects. Treat agent suggestions as proposals subject to your review, not as authoritative actions.

No guarantees

Status labels, roadmaps, and architectural commitments are forward-looking. They are not guarantees. Gao Systems disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
