Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2026-05-17

Preliminary, informational only. Gao Internet is pre-mainnet infrastructure software. The stack is non-custodial by design. Nothing on this page is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Final versions of these documents will be published after counsel review prior to general availability.

This notice describes how Gao Systems handles personal information collected through the gao.systems website and through publicly accessible pre-mainnet surfaces of the Gao Internet stack. It is a preliminary version published for transparency during the pre-general-availability phase.

What we collect

Website analytics: aggregate, IP-truncated request logs sufficient to operate and secure the site. We do not sell access to these logs.

Account-linked data on consumer surfaces (e.g. crm.gao.global, key.gao.global) is governed by each product's in-app disclosures. Where a surface is non-custodial, signing keys remain on the user device by design.

Voluntarily submitted information — for example, a contact form or a support email — is processed only for the purpose for which it was submitted.

What we do not collect by design

Signing keys, recovery phrases, or any material that would allow Gao Systems to move user funds or impersonate a user. Gao Internet is non-custodial by architecture.

Centralised content of end-to-end encrypted messages routed through Meshii Protocol. The protocol is designed so message content is unavailable to the operator of any relay.

How we use information

To operate, secure, and improve the website and Gao Internet stack; to respond to enquiries; and to comply with legal obligations applicable to Gao Systems.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers strictly necessary to run the website (for example, hosting providers); with regulators where legally required; and with successors in a corporate transaction subject to equivalent protections. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Send a written request to the contact below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

Changes

This notice will be replaced by a counsel-reviewed version prior to the general-availability launch of Gao Internet. Material changes will be summarized at the top of the page.
